Playful early-2000s Prada Linea Rossa mini skirt in beige cotton with sharp red contrast details and wash effect. Linea Rossa was Prada’s more technical, sport-influenced line. Known for mixing utility, workwear references, and performance details into everyday clothes. You can feel that here: it’s casual and wearable, but every detail is intentional.
The skirt is cut in a clean A-line mini with a button-through front, finished with off-white and red contrast buttons, visible zigzag stitching, and a single patch pocket outlined in scalloped red topstitching. The hem is trimmed with a gathered red ruffle — slightly girlish in shape but styled in that Prada way where it feels ironic, not cute.
The construction is very “early Miuccia thinking”: almost like a reworked utility skirt, but with sweetness layered on top. It doesn’t feel precious. It feels styled.
Styling tip:
Wear it the way Prada would style Linea Rossa: something slightly sporty / slightly wrong up top. A fitted white tee or tank, a men’s shirt half-tucked, an old leather jacket, ballet flats or slim kitten heels. The red makes it pop without you having to try.
Era: Early 2000s (Prada Linea Rossa era)
Material: 99% cotton, 1% other fibers
Color: Washed beige with red contrast stitching, red buttons, red ruffle hem
Condition: Excellent vintage condition overall.
Size: IT 40 (approx. EU 36 / S)
Why it made the cut:
Good Linea Rossa from this period is getting harder to find. Especially non-nylon, non-sportswear pieces. This one has that early-2000s Prada contrast between utility (canvas-y beige cotton, workwear pocket) and femininity (the ruffle and red stitching). It feels very now with a simple tank and flats.
