Straight, quietly elegant trousers in a deep chocolate mélange, cut from a dense wool–cashmere suiting (85% virgin wool / 15% cashmere). Clean waistband with belt loops, zip fly with button, side pockets. The fabric has weight and softness—reads “quiet Hermès” rather than corporate.
Era: Design language leans late-’90s/early-’00s Hermès (see attribution note).
Material: 85% virgin wool, 15% cashmere (care label)
Color: Dark chocolate brown, subtle mélange
Condition: Great vintage condition; no notable flaws (see photos)
Size: FR 42 (from label) fit rather small more like a loose 38 max 40
Notes: Zip fly with button; belt loops; slanted side pockets; Made in France woven label
Set note: Matching longline vest available separately (last photo). Happy to bundle.
Styling: Works with a tee and loafers for daytime, or with the matching vest for a modern two-piece column (no blazer needed). Also great with a fine-gauge knit and sneakers for off-duty.
Why it made the cut: Hermès tailoring + wool-cashmere in an easy straight leg—an everyday luxury trouser that plays with everything.
Attribution note (designer era): Hermès womenswear was helmed by Martin Margiela (1997–2003), then Jean Paul Gaultier (2003–2010). The minimalist longline tailoring, neutral palette and fabric focus align more with the Margiela era; exact season unconfirmed.
