A Gucci Jackie belt bag in black technical nylon with leather trim and silver-tone piston hardware.
Produced in 2015, this piece sits right at the beginning of Alessandro Michele’s creative direction at Gucci. While Michele became known for maximalism, vintage romanticism and eclectic layering, his early collections also heavily reinterpreted archival house codes especially equestrian hardware and heritage silhouettes.
The Jackie piston closure, originally introduced in 1961 and later named after Jacqueline Kennedy, is one of Gucci’s most recognisable archival elements. Here, it’s translated into a compact belt bag format.
What makes this version interesting is the material choice.
Technical black nylon + leather trim + polished piston hardware = quiet luxury meets functionality. It leans more utilitarian than romantic, which makes it incredibly wearable and modern.
Styling tip:
Wear it crossbody over tailoring for a sharp, minimal look. Or belt it over a long coat to create shape. It’s also perfect with relaxed denim and loafers. It adds structure without trying too hard. It’s subtle but strong.
Era: 2015
Material: Technical nylon with leather trim
Size: 18cm x 15cm x 4cm
Condition: Excellent condition.
Includes: Original Gucci controllato card, original store card
Why it made the cut:
Because it’s one of those pieces that blends Gucci heritage with everyday wearability. The Jackie hardware gives it history. The nylon makes it practical. It’s understated, functional and genuinely versatile.
