An early Guccissima Punch Hobo from Gucci’s mid-2000s Frida Giannini era, crafted in soft off-white leather embossed all over with the house’s GG monogram.
The Punch was part of the first generation of bags to use Guccissima leather, introduced by Gucci in 2005 as a new way of working the archival GG motif directly into the leather rather than applying it as a print.
The curved hobo shape is finished with smooth leather panels, an adjustable shoulder strap and gold-tone hardware, while the front features the Punch line’s distinctive chain-and-plaque detail.

Condition
Good vintage condition with visible signs of previous wear. The pale leather shows natural darkening, surface marks and areas of discolouration, particularly around the edges, handle and lower corners. There is also general creasing and age-related wear throughout.
Nothing takes away from the overall shape of the bag, but this is very much a true mid-2000s vintage piece rather than a pristine white bag. Please refer closely to the images for the complete condition.
Styling
I love this against darker colours rather than trying to make it too summery. Charcoal trousers, a chocolate knit or a worn leather jacket.
Why it made the cut
This is such a good snapshot of Gucci right at the beginning of the Frida Giannini years. The GG is unmistakable, but embossing it into tonal leather makes it much quieter, and the slightly odd Punch hardware gives it exactly the kind of mid-2000s detail I like finding. It feels recognisably Gucci without being one of the bags you see everywhere.
