A compact Gucci Zumi chain wallet from 2019, designed during Alessandro Michele’s tenure at the house. Crafted in black and beige calfskin with bold diagonal colour-blocking, it’s finished with the collection’s signature mixed-metal Interlocking G and Horsebit hardware.
The Zumi line debuted for Spring/Summer 2019, named after musician and artist Zumi Rosow, who carried the bag on the runway. The hardware combines two archival Gucci codes. The Horsebit and Interlocking G into one hybrid emblem, a detail Michele developed from the house archives.

Condition
Very good pre-owned condition with light signs of wear. The leather presents beautifully overall. Hardware remains bright with very slight use and the interior is clean. Please refer to the images for the full condition.
Styling
I’d wear it almost like jewellery. An oversized black suit, a white tank and denim, or a simple slip dress. The diagonal leather and mixed-metal hardware already do enough, so it works best against something clean.
Why it made the cut
The Zumi hardware takes two very traditional Gucci symbols and combines them into something much less expected, while the black-and-beige diagonal leather gives this tiny bag much more presence.
