A vintage Fendi Baguette crafted in a soft grey wool knit fabric with dark brown leather trim and an FF logo clasp. This version leans much quieter than the classic canvas styles and feels very refined in its texture and colour palette.
The slim baguette silhouette, elongated proportions and understated hardware place it firmly in the late 90s to early 2000s period when Fendi explored alternative materials beyond logo heavy canvas. The wool knit gives the bag a softer, more tactile look while still keeping the structure that makes the Baguette instantly recognisable.
At the time, Fendi was under the creative direction of Silvia Venturini Fendi, who was responsible for the Baguette’s evolution into countless variations. Her handwriting during this era balanced playfulness with wearability, often experimenting with unexpected fabrics while keeping the design practical and easy to style.
Styling tip:
This works beautifully with tailoring, knitwear or anything minimal. Very good with darker tones, greys, browns and black. One of those bags that feels intentional without trying too hard.

Why it made the cut
This is super rare variation that feels understated and grown up. The wool knit fabric makes it more subtle than canvas versions and easier to integrate into a modern wardrobe. A great option if you love the Baguette shape but want something quieter and more textural.
