This vintage Fendi baguette style shoulder bag is crafted from beigy, olive green corduroy with silver tone hardware and an adjustable shoulder strap. The soft structure and narrow silhouette are very typical of Fendi’s late 90s to early 2000s output, when the brand was redefining what a modern everyday designer bag could look like. It is understated, tactile, and intentionally casual, which is exactly what makes it so good.

The bag closes with Fendi’s iconic FF buckle. The outside is in very good vintage condition with a beautiful lived in corduroy texture.

Styling tip:
This is one of those bags that works best when you do not overthink it. Wear it with denim, oversized knits, tailoring, or a simple dress. It looks especially good when worn slightly slouched under the arm rather than styled too neatly.

Designer context:
During this period, Fendi was under the creative direction of Silvia Venturini Fendi, who introduced the Baguette in 1997 and fundamentally shifted how handbags were worn and perceived. Her handwriting focused on compact shapes, rich materials, and playful but refined textures like corduroy, denim, and canvas. This bag fits perfectly into that era of relaxed luxury and everyday sophistication.

Why it made the cut:
Corduroy Fendi bags and especially this particular shape are getting increasingly hard to find, especially in neutral, wearable tones like this. It feels very current again without trying to be trendy and works effortlessly into a modern wardrobe.
