This vintage Fendi Chef bag is crafted from glossy black patent leather, finished with smooth brown leather trims throughout, including the shoulder strap, piping, and interior flap. The softly gathered body gives the bag its signature slouch, creating a relaxed silhouette that feels very true to Fendi’s late 90s–early 2000s aesthetic.

The contrast between the high-shine patent and the warmer brown leather adds depth and makes the bag feel less rigid than typical patent styles. It’s a piece that looks better worn than pristine.

The bag closes with a flap and magnetic snap and features a short shoulder strap that works comfortably for shoulder or under-arm wear.

Styling tip:
Wear it casually under the arm with denim, tailoring, or a simple coat. It adds a beautiful y2k touch to any outfit.

Designer context / Why it made the cut:
This bag reflects Fendi’s approach in the late 90s and early 2000s under Silvia Venturini Fendi. Soft shapes, tactile materials, and designs that feel lived-in rather than overly polished. The Chef bag is a great example of that era: recognizable without being logo-heavy, slightly playful, and extremely wearable. It’s the kind of vintage Fendi that still feels relevant now.
