Chanel Shearling-Trim Suede Shoulder Bag — 1990s

A vintage Chanel shoulder bag in rich burgundy suede, finished with contrasting green shearling (mouton) trim and a classic CC turn-lock flap closure. The elongated silhouette and under-the-arm shape are very much in line with 90s proportions.

This piece sits within the Karl Lagerfeld era at Chanel, where he continuously reinterpreted the house’s core codes. Styling tip:
I’d definitely play with contrast here. The bag already has quite a bit of texture, so pairing it with something cleaner works really well, like simple tailoring. But it also elevates very casual outfits. Even something like jeans and a knit. The bag adds enough interest on its own.
